1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website at coltin.com.au (the "Site"), operated by Coltin IT Solutions (ABN 44 622 926 953) ("Coltin", "we", "us" or "our"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

These Terms apply to your use of the Site only. Services we provide are governed by our separate Service & Engagement Terms.

2. About the Site

The Site provides information about Coltin and our services, including IT support and computer repairs, web design and development, and AI and automation setup. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Site at any time without notice.

3. Intellectual property in the Site & content

Unless otherwise stated, all content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, images, layout, design and code — is owned by or licensed to Coltin and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You may view and print content from the Site for your own personal, non-commercial use. You must not otherwise copy, reproduce, modify, distribute or commercially exploit any part of the Site without our prior written consent.

4. On-site tools & calculators are estimates only

Any tools, calculators or estimators on the Site are provided for general guidance only. Any figures, pricing or results they produce are indicative estimates only. They are not a quote and do not constitute financial, legal or professional advice.

Actual pricing, scope and outcomes depend on your specific circumstances and will only be confirmed in a written quote or proposal from us. You should not rely on any on-site estimate as a binding offer.

5. Website Discovery Session offer

From time to time we offer a free Website Discovery Session (normally valued at $500). The following terms apply to that offer:

  • The session is offered free of charge and has a normal value of $500.
  • If you proceed with us, $500 will be credited toward a new website build or a website optimisation package.
  • The credit is valid for 60 days from the date of your session.
  • The offer is limited to one per business.
  • It applies only against a new website build or a website optimisation package.
  • It is subject to a discovery call and a written proposal.
  • It is not redeemable for cash and cannot be exchanged or transferred.
  • Coltin may vary or withdraw the offer at any time.

6. Accuracy of information & "as is"

We aim to keep the information on the Site accurate and up to date, but we do not warrant that it is complete, current or error-free. The Site and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we make no representations or warranties of any kind about the Site or its content, including its accuracy, reliability or fitness for a particular purpose.

7. Third-party links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or resources. We provide these links for convenience only and do not control, endorse or accept responsibility for the content, products or services of any third-party site. Accessing third-party sites is at your own risk and subject to their own terms.

8. Limitation of liability for use of the Site

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Coltin will not be liable for any loss or damage (including indirect or consequential loss) arising from your access to, use of, or inability to use the Site, or from reliance on any content on the Site.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you may have under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where our liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, our liability is limited to the extent permitted by law.

9. Privacy

Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria and the courts competent to hear appeals from them.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page, and the "Last updated" date will reflect the most recent changes. Your continued use of the Site after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
